I think that you should be able to bring back everything but the main preference file, but then the settings that are saved alongside the zoom all window would not make it.
I never tried to convert a copy of the PSP to a TXT file, it might be worth trying.

As you can see in the gif I am not able to zoom out and in manteining the canvas fit in the photoshop window.
I had this issue since I switch to photoshop 21.1. (but i had it with the previous versions as well – not the 2018 version tho)
is there something I can do or I just need to wait the next update? I normally press “altGr + -” or “ctrl + -” to zoom out and normally the window would automatically fit the canvas…. but is not happening with the last versions of photoshop.
I m using a pc with windows 10.

That’s update 21.1.1 to photoshop 2020.
When using two windows scrub zoom is only available for one of them. (Likley not a problem with OpenGL)
Using OS windows 7, Version cs6 photoshop.
Would you please try the following steps:
- Go to Edit – Preferences – Performance.
- Click the [ Advanced Settings… ] button in the GPU Settings group.
- Change the Mode to Basic.
- Close and restart Photoshop.
Or
Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor: Click on the Advanced button to see the OpenCL checkbox and other settings.
Anyway since your case may be different, open a new post with a description of the problem, your OS, and hardware specs including your graphics cards.
If this upgrade is v 22.3.1, uninstall it via your CC desktop app, but keep your settings.
Then select “Other Versions” and install 22.3.0.
